Here's your updated list of Artice Directories, (I usually update this list once a month). Do take into consideration that all article directories are not created equally. Some have greater PR than others, while others don't provide a "Do Follow" tag.

There are other variables that you must be aware of before you start submitting articles. For example, EzineArticles.com pretty much keeps their authors in the 1% to 1.5% keyword density range.

If you submit articles to them over that range, they will be rejected until you adjust the keyword density. However, that range simply won't work with certain keyword phrases because of the competition. Learn the nuances of each directory and everyone will be a happy camper!

My top Article Directories are EzineArticles.com, Goarticles.com, Amazines.com, Buzzle.com,  ArticleDashboard.com, Articlesbase.com, Weeno.com and Ideamarketers.com. I submit to the others, but those are my mainstays.

I use Associated Content but not as a link builder. To be blunt, their system is more slanted towards not helping Internet Marketers. Since you CAN’T put a resource box with links at the end of each article and there is no other reasonable way to drive traffic to your website from AssociatedContent.com, I rate them very low as a link builder and traffic provider. The trade off is, they pay you upfront anywhere from .99 cents to $10.00 per article, plus you receive residual income.

When I first started off online, they provided me with a good source of income. So if you're an OK writer, you can start making money online instantly. Once you submit an article, it usually takes about three to four days and they tender you an offer of what they are willing to pay. If you accept the offer, they pay you via PayPal immediately.

The other article directories on this list will provide you with a varying degree of traffic and back links with juice. The key here is setting up an article submission plan and then being disciplined and consistent with it.

Get the Article Directory Submitter by Brad Callen; there is a free version and an upgraded version. Start off with the free and you’ll quickly see why you should upgrade. This is the exact article submitter tool that I use. Why? Because it works!

Don’t waste your time doing article marketing the old fashion out dated way; which is going to each site and submitting articles one-by-one. With that archaic method you will spend days, weeks and months doing what the Article Directory Submitter can do in a few minutes. Need I say more?

Get Josh Spaulding’s ebook: Article Marketing Domination. When I purchased and read it and took the stated actions, my traffic soared! BUT, that wasn’t all, my back links increased, my PR increased and some of my keyword phrases that were pretty much dormant on page 3 of Google, jumped to page 1! Oh, and did I mention that my income also increased.

That was on the first two sites that I used the system and right now, I’m methodically implementing Article Marketing Domination on each of my websites.
